A few weeks ago I published an article entitled How to use Google Voice for free outgoing calls on an Asterisk/FreePBX system (the easy way) . If you are a regular reader of my blog you know that it’s always a good idea to check the date on an article, and if it’s under a week old, check back in a week because it’s probably going to get edited or corrected in that time! In the case of that particular article, not only were there several edits and corrections, but it turns out that I could have done things just a bit differently and made what some might consider an improvement in the way it works. Vodafone ES allows you to call mobile numbers through Internet, also updates their tariffs for smartphone . Some weeks before they announced the first tariff that allows its customers use the Internet and call through VoIP (Voice over IP). Till now Vodafone but also every other similar company used to deny or overcharge this type of calls and that’s why they were afraid of how much popular could be, because the ease and the low cost.
